The parade will start at Northside Middle School on the corner of Westmont Avenue and Granby Street.
Afterward, you and the rest of the adults in the community can continue the celebration with the After Parade Party. Here you can enjoy food and live music. The after party will take place at the Columbian Club of Ocean View and is a 21-and-older event.
Yuengling Shamrock Marathon
This year celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by getting physical and participating in a great race. On Sunday, March 22, the 2015 Yuengling Shamrock Marathon is set to begin at 8:30 am. This scenic race takes you past the breathtaking scene by Virginia Beach, JEB Fort Story, and even the Cape Henry Lighthouse. Times for this event will be limited to seven hours, which translates to 16 minutes and 2 seconds of running time per mile. The Shamrock Sports and Fitness Expo will take place from Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 22 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
